Spring Remoting and Webservices
Course Description
In this Advanced Spring Training course, we show how to build full scale applications using Spring Remoting and Webservices. The Spring Video Training is in three parts. Part 1 is “traditional” remoting, using RMI, Burlap, Hessian and HttpInvoker. Part 2 is SOAP based webservice training, and shows both automatic creation of WSDLs and using Spring-WS for contract first development. Part 3 in an indepth REST Tutorial, with 12 hours of REST Training. We cover all the core features of rest, including HATEOAS.
Knowledge of Dependency Injection from Spring. We’ll be using XML and Annotation based wiring. The project builds on the system built in the “Spring Fundamentals” course, but if you didn’t do that course, the first chapter gives a walkthrough of that code.
