How to install new plugin in Jenkin?

CSV and SVN are out of the box. In case if we wanted to work with github our own public repository we need to explicitly install the plugin by follow below steps.

Step 1) Go to Jenkin home http://localhost:8088/jenkins/

Step 2) Click on “Manage Jenkins” to install Git plugin for configuring the git repository

Step 3) Click on “Manage Plugins” and click on “Available” tab and search with name git in filter text area

Step 4) after clicking on install without restart button, Jenkin system will start installing the plugin and after finishing the installation to show the status of installation process.
